Axios reveals Trump's plan to take out the deep state
American Thinker ^ | 23 Jul, 2022 | Rajan Laad

Intended as a hit piece, it reads like an important section of Trump’s 2024 campaign manifesto to his supporters.

Just yesterday, Axios carried a piece provocatively entitled “A radical plan for Trump’s second term.”

The following are key excerpts from the article:

The heart of the plan is derived from an executive order known as “Schedule F,” developed and refined in secret over most of the second half of Trump’s term and launched 13 days before the 2020 election. (snip)

Trump signed an executive order, “Creating Schedule F in the Excepted Service,” in October 2020, which established a new employment category for federal employees. It received wide media coverage for a short period, then was largely forgotten in the mayhem and aftermath of Jan. 6 — and quickly was rescinded by Biden.

Sources close to Trump say that if he were elected to a second term, he would immediately reimpose it.

Tens of thousands of civil servants who serve in roles deemed to have some influence over policy would be reassigned as “Schedule F” employees. Upon reassignment, they would lose their employment protections. (snip)

An initial estimate by the Trump official who came up with Schedule F found it could apply to as many as 50,000 federal workers — a fraction of a workforce of more than 2 million…. (snip)

“They took out JFK for similar thoughts and plans.”

I thought about that yesterday. Some people said JFK was running his mouth too much.

Trump already had it in place. He did the order about a month before the election. Biden got rid of it

Lock the doors on day 1 and send pink slips in the mail. Do NOT let them back in the building.

Who was the guy who was sent on a long trip ...and Trump had his office opened and his computer and files taken...and also fired.

Was that Comey....?....anyone remember....

Why are so many folks always speaking for Trump and what he will do? I want to hear from Trump exclusively, not someone’s opinion of what he will do.

Axios author Swan is pretty straight up. I believe every word and pray its true and comes to fruition. Remember, DjT thought he would be loved in the WH in ‘16. He won’t make that mistake a second time.

Such extensive detail and sourcing could not come from 1 or 2 peeps speaking out of school. I think its intended as a recruitment drive with thousands of willing compatriots, as the AT author Laad suggests at the end.

It’ll surely be used against him in a campaign which could result in recruiting even more patriots. The bloated civil serve beltway employees will oppose it, but they wouldn’t vote for him anyway.

Love it. Masterclass stuff....no stones unturned. Everything, everyone will be in place from day 1.

So far as I know it is still possible to reduce the feral workforce by abolishing their jobs. This may not mean that individuals will be fired or laid off since they can bump others with less seniority for billets they are qualified for in the event their current position is eliminated. This is certainly a path to employee numbers reduction though.

It was the means used for a reduction in force by clintoon and algore in their reinventing gooberment action of the early 90s. What actually happened in the instances I saw is that scope of jobs was reduced with high grades eliminated and more lower graded jobs with less span of control were opened. The net was a gain in jobs that were lower graded.

This needs to happen to every cabinet department...

Trump had the opportunity to radically alter the EPA when he put Scotty Pruitt in charge and gave him the green light to take a flamethrower to the countless job-killing EPA regulations and enforcement mechanisms that the left has forced upon us. But liberals, who believe the EPA belongs to them regardless of who is in the White House raised a fit so President Trump, always trying to please those who loath him, demanded Pruitt's resignation.

Scotty Pruitt was the most MAGA person Trump put in charge of anything and Trump sent him packing after liberals cried. But we're being reassured that next time, things will be different.

If he runs for the office he’s has my vote we are at a point of Marxism or liberty war.

“And put them in the New York quarantine camps.”

No, northern Alaska would be better. Oh, and winter heating to be provided by solar cells…let’s see how they like stupid environmental mandates.

SMOD on DC?

Sadly I think I’d be generally OK with that, as long as no one incorrectly saw it as a nuclear attack and started a general nuclear exchange.

You are both right, of course.

I only listed the State Department for the convenience of all those foreign embassies in Washington.

But it is in bad need of a clean out which should start with not allowing those currently in the job to do the new hires.

Disclosure: Years ago, I scored in the top 1% of their exam and was invited to DC for an interview. Because the biographical sketches of the interviewers was available in a binder for all to see, I went through it fairly completely. There were three things that stood out as common to all (ever single one had two of the three, many all three):

Besides the Leftism, which is bad enough, you’ve also got the “going native” aspect that is so common.

“What’s your country?”

“I’ve worked primarily in the EU, Italy, Croatia, Sweden.”

“NO! YOUR COUNTRY IS THE USA!”

You do realize if you established this precedent when a Rat gets back in power, they’ll fire the conservatives and replace them with leftists! Or do you think a Rat will not ever be elected again? History says otherwise!

So, that doesn’t change anything!

Somehow the bureaucracy has to be de-politicized.
First step put some teeth in the Hatch Act and actually enforce it! In the past GOP administrations pay lip service to it, Rat administrations ignore it.
