Have you read the OT? You keep acting as if the Jews disobeying God is the same as everyone else disobeying God. The Jewish people are His specific called out people of all the world. God never once held other nations to the same standard because He didn't bring them out of Egypt through the sea and through the wilderness into the promised land.
It's like your wife cheats on you and someone comes along and says "well what's the big deal?" It's no different than other wives cheating on thier husbands.

The Jews disobedience to God is not the same as that of other nations. But that’s because God has chosen a greater role for them than he has for other nations. Their folly is more consequential than the folly of other nations because that’s the way God wanted it. But that doesn’t mean they are more prone to folly than other nations. Other nations haven’t been tested by God in same way the Jews have. God has chosen to use the Jews as an example to the rest of the world to highlight courage, bravery, sin and folly, not because they are unique attributes of the Jews, but because the lessons learned apply to all people.
