One of the things about of the privileged class that annoys me the most is their attitude toward the Constitution and the law in general. So far, it looks to me like they are getting away with it.
Obama. Now Harris. You are absolutely correct. Neither one of them meets the criteria.

Thank you. Yet there Harris is, the sitting VP. If they ignored the Twelfth Amendment for her to be VP, a position for which everyone knew she was ineligible before the election, why do we assume they won’t ignore the Twelfth to replace Biden? Nobody in Congress or Constitutional circles said a word about her ineligibility prior to the election that I’m aware of. Or if they did, it didn’t matter, because there she is.
The most optimistic scenario I can think of is that her assumption of the Presidency, while ineligible to do so, will highlight the lax procedures in vetting these people. Maybe someone is going to bring the matter to the fore and the nation will have a serious discussion about eligibility and the Twelfth. The result would be that the Obamas and Harrises of the future will be more completely vetted and denied candidacy.
