Under the Twelfth Amendment, “no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States”.

Thank you. Yet there Harris is, the sitting VP. If they ignored the Twelfth Amendment for her to be VP, a position for which everyone knew she was ineligible before the election, why do we assume they won’t ignore the Twelfth to replace Biden? Nobody in Congress or Constitutional circles said a word about her ineligibility prior to the election that I’m aware of. Or if they did, it didn’t matter, because there she is.
The most optimistic scenario I can think of is that her assumption of the Presidency, while ineligible to do so, will highlight the lax procedures in vetting these people. Maybe someone is going to bring the matter to the fore and the nation will have a serious discussion about eligibility and the Twelfth. The result would be that the Obamas and Harrises of the future will be more completely vetted and denied candidacy.
Vote and election fraud issues aside, assuming (big assumption) that a candidate ineligible under Constitutional guidelines gets into the POTUS or VPOTUS position regardlesss, that indicates a failure in the civics and American history education of the voting public. Part of that is the conflation (in media and academia) of legal immigrant and illegal immigrant/invader, and citizen with natural born citizen.
Put more succinctly, assuming that people actually voted BO into the White House (his father was not a citizen when he was born), it means the electorate was asleep at the switch. He shouldn't have gotten a single delegate. Not one. Neither did Harris, come to think of it. And yet here we are.
Don’t expect anyone to obey the laws they don’t like until after the newly elected house and senate members take office in January. Even then little will change until the bad guys are taken to court or hopefully jailed.
