I've done high levels of Niacin to see what flush felt like. The first time you do it gives you a flush face (red and hot face.)
Make sure it's the flush Vit B3. I took Vitamin C it helps though I think melatonin might be better.

Dr Abram Hoffer worked with many people with high levels of anxieties (schizophrenia) though the process is the same. I lost my links to Hoffer did a quick search found this:
