Sounds like you need to slow down a little at work. I mean, it stinks that you have no real management/leadership, but you’re also doing the lion’s share of the work.
It’s Ok to be a high-producer, but give yourself a little slack too.
I feel as if having a greater output makes it more difficult for them to get rid of me, especially if they find out I am not vaxxed.
Also, when the day finally comes when co-workers start talking about their suspicions about the vax, my ability to have been able to get more done could serve as further evidence of the power of not being vaxxed.
Because I am pretty assertive and um, intense, they are forced to put up with that if they want a good chunk of the work that needs to get done done.
It was pretty funny today that the manager was all like, “And Cheshire had good ideas about changing up the presentations” “Cheshire’s project on xxx showed the reasons why we are seeing what we are seeing.” Blah blah.
All this despite me taking over the meeting after we had gone halfway and she wouldn’t stop talking and let us ask questions.
I don’t know if she realizes yet my resume is not in the stack on her desk.
