For half a century, Takeo Nakajo has been catching katsuo, or skipjack tuna - indispensable in Japanese cuisine whether eaten raw, dried or used as a base for the broth.
Read the condensed version of this story, and other top stories with NewsLite. But he and other fishermen in Kure, in Kochi prefecture in southwest Japan, have seen something worrying in the past two years - an unprecedented number of unusually fatty katsuo.
While heavier katsuo means more money, locals and experts say it indicates climate change and a risk for katsuo numbers already under threat due to growing demand and overfishing.

Then again, maybe not.
“News” stories with may, might, could, suggest, indicate, and so forth are not actually news stories. If something may happen, it also may not happen.

“May”. That all important qualifier of a heaping helping of climate B.S.
The tuna is getting bigger. Climate change,
The tuna is getting smaller. Climate change.

When I fly I have more fatty people with flab that rolls over the arm rests into my space. If that is from global warming I am going to turn my air conditioner colder and open the windows.

I believe global warming is just arbitrarily tagged on to this article like it conveniently is in most MSM content.
I wonder why they couldn’t include white privilege somehow.
