I miss my Grandmas, too. One was a City Girl, so I learned about Art, Music, Theater, Literature, which fork to use for what, how a ‘Lady’ comports herself, how to dress properly for any occasion and why owning REAL jewelry is an important investment. ;)
The other was a Farm Girl and, of course, I learned USEFUL stuff from her. Baking bread, cooking from scratch, growing a garden, sewing, butchering & canning.
To this day I bake bread in heels, a pretty apron & and my Pearls. *SMIRK*
Yeah, Right. Guess which Grandma won out? ;)
