I [long-ago] developed a technique for eating corn from the cob in alternating horizontal rows, by typing [eating] one kernel at a time, from left to right, then rotating the cob clockwise, like a carriage return, to skip the next row.
At completion the cob resembles a gear.
This provides amusing entertainment at family dinner parties.
I observed that every cob of corn has an even number of rows!
Never encountered one with an odd number of rows.
(Squeeze me a funnel cake and don't let her go near sharp sticks!)
Maybe she should take a trip to Mitchell SD?
