Several people who have visited Trump over the past two years have later had "public" spats with Trump. It is all for show; it is not real.

Many have other opinions of Musk than you as well. I have no judgment about him. Things I like, things I don’t but then I feel the same way about many people.
Pence is getting press because Fox (Ryan) wants him to get in the race for POTUS.
They are currently stirring the pot for DeSantis to get the polls showing some division.
Once a crack appears, they will drop DeSantis (who has filed for another stint as FLA-GOV) and insert Pence.
