Meghan Markle is going all-in for abortion these days, which includes one of her product endorsements.
The Duchess of Sussex used to be required to keep her political opinions quiet, but ever since she stepped back as a senior working royal, Markle has been voicing her feminist views. Now, Page Six reported that the brand Awe Inspired introduced a “Woman Power” necklace, which costs between $140-$150. One hundred percent of the proceeds for the necklace and the rest of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg collection from Awe Inspired will benefit Planned Parenthood.
Markle was first spotted wearing the necklace, which features a Venus symbol incorporated with a power fist, at the 2021 VAX Live event, a global broadcast special celebrating COVID-19 vaccines.
The necklace isn’t new but the initiative to support abortion is a reaction to the historic overturning of Roe v. Wade on June 24.
“We are proud to honor Ruth Bader Ginsburg, her championing of civil liberties, and all the people she has inspired to never stop persisting in the face of adversity,” a statement on the brand’s website says. They say these donations will help them “continue the fight.”
The royal has already expressed her support for abortion during a previous interview.
“We have to band together and not wallow,” Markle said while speaking with Gloria Steinem and Jessica Yellin for Vogue just after the Supreme Court decision was handed down. “What happens with our bodies is so deeply personal, which can also lead to silence and stigma, even though so many of us deal with personal health crises.”
“I know what miscarrying feels like, which I’ve talked about publicly,” the Duchess continued. “The more that we normalize conversation about the things that affect our lives and bodies, the more people are going to understand how necessary it is to have protections in place.”
The Duchess seemingly equated miscarriage with abortion, which many celebrities and left-wing news outlets have been doing ever since Roe was overturned. Recording artist Halsey said, “my abortion saved my life” while referencing a procedure she had after experiencing a miscarriage, The Daily Wire originally reported.
Markle isn’t the only celebrity wearing jewelry from Awe Inspired. Demi Lovato, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Whitney Cummings, Becky G, Megan Rapinoe, and Tess Holiday all wore items from the RBG collection, per Page Six.
Madonna, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Sarah Jessica Parker, Halle Berry, and Hilary Duff all support the Awe Inspired brand as well, per their website.
Not a surprise……but thanks, good to know
I’m against abortion.
Except for Megan Markle’s kids. Those, I want mandatory abortion for.
Let the genetic abomination cease at this place, at this time.
Wonder how many she has had.
Oh please Laz she may have all the kids she wants..as long as she has them in ENGLAND AND THEY STAY THERE with her.
So far Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet
Anyone else wondering if the Harkles met up with Newsom while they just happened to be in WY for the 4th and he was in MT...
Someone should get both parties on the record.
And ask the Harkles if Harry is here on a visa that allows him to avoid paying US income taxes...
I’m all for aborting Megan, but spare the kids.
We have to stop this line of genetic mutation HERE.
HERE, and NO further!
I think exnavy meant…..abortions……
Pussy hats are cheaper...and warmer.
Since these people can’t even define what a woman is, it might as well be a Shapeshifter necklace.
“I think exnavy meant…..abortions……”
I should have figured that but it was too early in the morning. :P
Being that she was in hollywood probably a few.
That’s what happens when royals start stepping in the gutter to mingle with Hollywoody elites and Pedophile Club members.
Somebody convince me that this woman is not going to run for president of the USA.
Is she a biologist?
Wouldn’t she have to stop with the “Duchess” gig to do that?
Another reason to add to the long list: Reasons to Despise Meghan Markle, the Douchesse of Sucks.
Of course She was in her late 30s before she had a live birth
She probably had a few abortions earlier before Harry ...
The old millstone necklace. Don’t go swimming without it.
What’s worse than royalty?
American’s version of it.
