Agreed. Why can’t they just say spouse. A wife is the female spouse of a man, a husband the male spouse of a female. It’s hard to believe you have to be so specific. They make up their own genders, let them make up their own labels. I am tired of these people co-opting the language.
Whatever happened to ‘partner’, ‘roommate’, ‘significant other’, ‘better half’ and all the other euphemisms?...............
