Note the mistakes the security made in these pics.
One guard (I think) in the bottom pic had his back to the PM facing the soon to be assassin?
At least one guard that took down the assassin I think was standing to the right of the PM looking out into the street.
Likely because they couldn't breath while standing out side.





BTW - who was the PM addressing a street? I don't see people other then a cyclist.

Worse security issue then I thought.
The assassin missed the first shot. They had at least one second to react but they all ducked.

It’s common in Japan to either have the speaker across the street from the crowd or on top of a vehicle with a megaphone - it seems odd compared to how we do things, but has a lot to do with the limited space and they typically do it in parking lots/roadways as they don’t want to deprive others of the use of the parks, etc
