That’s what my prim and proper grandmother always told me. “Hold and aspirin between your knees.”
Now that I’m much older and looking back at old photos my dad collected, I can see why she worried and why my dad was so paranoid. At the time, I hated all of that long red hair, but I know now it was beautiful and I miss it. 😪 I got bullied a lot until I was a senior in high school and then all of a sudden, the boys noticed me.
If I had a daughter that looked like I did in the 70’s, she would be locked in her room. LOL It’s funny how getting older and wiser changes the way you see life.
Aspirin? Whoa, I don’t think I’ve ever heard that one before . . . Either I’m not as old as I feel, or I’ve led a sheltered life. Heh. :-)
