Mr. Oil/Gas guy Cletus, recently I was hearing that the way we understand oil production is not altogether true. They were saying research is showing that oil is much faster regenerating than previously thought and instead of limited supply running out, it could be regenerating. I don’t know much about the subject but I was intrigued. Maybe it was the guy from Behind the Black, Robert Zimmerman. https://behindtheblack.com/
He appears on Pratt on Texas frequently and he is very nerdy knowledgeable. Anyway, I thought you might know more about this.
Read “The Hot Deep Biosphere” by the late Dr Thomas Gold.
It has some interesting arguments for the abiotic origin of oil\fossil fuels. I don’t buy into all of his arguments but they’re food for thought.
Abiotic oil.
Abiotic petroleum has been around for decades.
I subscribve to it.
Yes, there is a regenerative process that takes place in the mantle & crust interface that generates petroleum (rock + oil).
The idea of unlimited oil is still up for grabs as most folks in the industry are at the point of asking, “Do we need to learn how to use it at the right pace?”
Some say we aren’t too fast and that oil will continue into the future.
Others say that at the current pace, we may have to pause use completely until it returns.
I say use it! And, develop nuclear.
Oh...the Deep State calls abiotic oil a conspiracy theory.
So you KNOW it is right.
