Last night’s posted scene was even more beautiful in light of the 100-105 degree temps OK will have over the next several days. Have been leaving the sprinklers on at sundown for the last several days — something I usually never do — to cut down on the risk of fires from the neighbors’ fireworks falling in my yard. If even one spark is still live when the debris hits the bone-dry grass . . . well, I don’t want to think about it.
