The COVID policies promoted by Dr. Fauci, the World Health Organization, CDC and the majority of influential public health “experts” had devastating consequences, according to a new analysis published by Nature.
The report suggests that over 75 million people have been thrown into poverty, defined as making less than $1.90 US per day, than were expected before the pandemic response started.

Government enforced pandemic policies have been a complete disaster.
Lockdowns, masks and vaccine mandates were completely ineffective at reducing the spread of the virus. In fact, despite Dr. Fauci’s claims that following his advice would lead to better outcomes for states and countries, the exact opposite is true.
But beyond the failure of policies to make a noticeable difference to COVID related metrics, Fauci and international politicians ignored the consequences of their mandates.
In fact, as late as April 2021, well after it was abundantly clear that his policies had completely failed, Fauci recommended that India’s government lock down their population.
For a country that already struggles with poverty, listening to his advice would have been a complete disaster.
Incredibly, less than a year later, he claimed that we may never know if the costs of lockdowns outweigh the benefits.
This research, to go along with the Johns Hopkins study detailing the failures of COVID policies to reduce mortality, shows once again that Fauci’s policy advocacy was one of the greatest peacetime disasters in history.
Every policy has trade offs, and good ones result in more benefits than harms.
Lockdowns and mandates are the exact opposite. They’ve created tremendous harms while avoiding any benefits.
And the worst part is that ego and reputation is so important to Fauci and his colleagues that they’ll never admit they were wrong and ensure that it never happens again.
This was predicted by economists back in April 2020. The very reason Trump wanted to open up quickly.
Now the economy is a zombie.

Dozens and dozens of mom and pop’s businesses and local businesses have been destroyed and most permanently closed because of this covid crap.
I stopped by a local small Greek restaurant to pick up dinner last night and only left with a menu. Their prices have doubled. I feel bad for them but it was unaffordable and IIRC, not even the size where I could justify paying for it by us making 2 meals out of each meal.
I read we have 7 weeks of diesel in the pipeline and then all will stop. Again.

The next phase will be the ELIMINATION phase of Liberals.
Over 1 million Covid deaths have occurred in the US since the start of it all in March 2020.
There are folks who want to divide that by 330 million and say it is insignificant.
Truth is the divisor number is not 330 million, it is about 53 million, the over 65 population. The deaths concentrate in that age group. In terms of Excess Deaths about 24% more 65+ people died over this period of time than in 2019, adjusted for population growth of that segment.
That’s real. That’s the number. 24% more oldsters died than would have in a non virus world.
What does this mean for young folks who have to worry about their jobs? 1.8. It means 1.5. That’s the number of years of life expectancy lost since virus arrival, and that is adjusted for life expectancy loss (fentanyl etc) already in place. With those considered, life expectancy loss has been 1.8 years.
So, no. You’re not immune to all the effects if you’re young.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN masks, vax, lockdown. Don’t go running around in circles waving your hands over your head about loss of freedom. It means exactly what it says, numerically. It is inescapable.
So what measures should be taken to stop loss of Life Expectancy and 24% extra parents dying? You choose. Do you do nothing and let them all die and lose years off your life, or do you do something?
No, don’t freak about what “something” is. That’s part 2 of the analysis. Just get the right answer for part 1 first. Part 1 is are you going to do nothing or something. Once you decide on something, THEN and only then worry about what the something is.
(BTW quietly Covid deaths are rising. The post peak decline looks ended, and the bottom of the decline was above last year’s minimum)
IMO, Fauci is a modern-day Mengele and should be indicted, tried and sentenced to death for crimes against humanity.

The “something” should have been concentrating the science and the funding of the science on early treatments, not vaccines.
They also should have been more forceful in warning the overweight and the diabetic to make serious and sustained lifestyle changes.
Fauci and his ilk will not change their tune, but the young scientists who suffered through the stupid will one day replace the old guard. I doubt history will be kind.

Start out here. Scroll down to the button Weekly Deaths By Age. Click UPDATE DASHBOARD. Then scroll a bit more and look at the older age segments of curves. They never go below the multi year norm smudge / gray line. They are always excess. The lines are different color for different years, and this year remember to look back 6 weeks or so because deaths take time to trickle into the tabulator.
For the exact numbers, in that same section where the Update was, over on the right, you can download the raw data for 65-74, 75-84, 84+ and it’s additive, of course.
Don’t include this year until the end of the year. So 2020 and 2021.

Sorry, but I no longer believe ANYTHING the CDC puts out. They’ve lost all credibility with me, and with anyone with a brain.
What do some of the signers of The Great Barrington Declaration say? Or Simone’s group? Or anyone else with a proven track record of being right about the covid scamdemic over the last 2 years?
Never heard of them. As to believing the 10s of thousands of employees at CDC get up every morning, look in the mirror and get excited about going to work to lie — doesn’t seem credible.
That would extend to all the other health ministries around the world who arrive at similar conclusions. Those people get up in the morning, look in the mirror and just go do their jobs, which for compiling Excess Death data is pretty straightforward.
Here is what the CDC has been wrong about:
Vax will be long lived. You will be hard pressed to find an explicit quote from the head of the CDC saying this. They always were careful, but internal policy determination depended on it, and it has proven wrong. Notice I had to draw a conclusion. They never explicitly said that.
Masks work. They should have been careful to define “work.” We have right wing wackos concluding “work” means they contribute to the economy. They do not. They merely stop a few virus particles. Probably not enough to have much impact on spread of the disease, but they do stop some particles.
Masks . . . is a matter of deciding you live in the 21st century and have some understanding that viruses transmit person to person. They are not evil spirits. So if you’re facing 1 million oldsters dying, 23% above a normal year, you are desperate to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING to try to save your citizens. So masks and distancing was their best bet.
And now the bad news. China is locking down severely. They already have the maximum CONTROL over the society of anywhere in the world. They have no need for more CONTROL. What they do have is a desire to save the lives of their citizens, and apparently a higher moral high ground than US conservatives who want to compute the well being of the ECONOMY to transcend the need to avoid deaths.
China has opted for zero deaths over the pieces of printed paper called money. That is a far more moral position than saying “those old people were going to die soon anyway. Don’t do things that affect my income.”
