The little girl was awkwardly close, probably in response to a photographer telling them to inch in; Nancy was gesturing to someone to her right with her dominant right hand; it doesn’t appear as if she even grazed the girl; and she looked over to check on the girl as well.

It's not grasping at straws. It's indicative of the character she's shown over, and over, and over in one way or another. First, when it's a child who is afraid, your ‘personal space’ should not be an issue as an adult. You should be more than willing to be ‘uncomfortable’ for a child. The issue of whether or not she elbowed the child is I guess one of interpretation. I personally feel it's clear that she did. When I showed someone else they thought the same.

I'm not saying this is some incredible film of child abuse by Pelosi. That said, think back how the networks used a clip of Trump gesturing in a way that he had gestured multiple times before, and characterized it as him making fun of a disabled person. Many, many people still think that's actually what happened.
