For Ritchie Herron, a bright and articulate civil servant from Newcastle, life over the past four years has become almost unbearable. It takes him ten minutes to empty his bladder, a process as painful as it is slow. Any sex drive is long gone. In fact, he says, his crotch is numb, ‘shell-shocked’ from the damage done to him under the apparent care of the NHS.
‘Numb’ rather sums up Ritchie’s whole demeanour as he struggles to process what has happened to him. Today he reveals – in an exclusive interview – that he is the man preparing legal action against the NHS over an operation that removed his genitals.
Ritchie’s case emerged last week when he posted about his experience on Twitter under a pseudonym, TullipR. His brief testimony, which was picked up by the Daily Mail, was as shocking as it was damning for the NHS ‘gender clinics’ that help people change sex.
Battling mental health issues – and after decades of suppressing his homosexuality – Ritchie, 35, had thought the answer was to become a woman. But instead, he says, he was fast-tracked into making ‘the biggest mistake of his life’ and left infertile, incontinent and with ongoing pain.
Not only had the NHS clinic failed to take into account his spiralling mental health crisis, he claims, but it had also failed to properly counsel him about the risks.
His account raises serious questions about the safeguards in place at NHS gender clinics, which have seen a 1,700 per cent rise in referrals over the past ten years, accounted for mainly by children and young adults.
The speed at which Ritchie – who had been living as a woman called Abby – was diagnosed and subsequently referred for irreversible surgery is disturbing in itself.....

evil service since one DR provided it .
This crowd tried to skip out on paying and about 65% demanded to get changed back .
The DR died and they dropped the service the day after he died .

I feel sorry for this young person, but I can’t help but think that this is the sort who would also sue if he was denied the surgery. This is an unhappy person no matter what they are given. You cannot satisfy this type.
True “gender dysphoria” is not nearly as prevalent as people have been led to believe. In fact, it is quite rare. The explosion of boys wanting to be girls and vice versa can largely be attributed to the daily bombardment of propaganda messaging in the media, in schools, and on the internet.
The power of suggestion is a very real thing. It’s demonstrated in the phenomenon called, among other names, “first-year medical student syndrome” in which the aforementioned student imagines themself to have rare conditions that they just happen to be studying, noticing every little “symptom” as indicators, such a stomach pain (hunger) or blood clots (muscle cramps).
When you have very impressionable young girls and boys, the weird feelings they get during puberty are misinterpreted using the same principle, but in this case it’s gender identification, because they are surrounded by messaging from celebrities, friends, strangers on Instagram, and teachers. A kid with low self esteem (which is a lot of them) can easily get the attention and approval they crave by simply saying they want to switch genders and receive heaps of praise for being “brave”.
The place where this trend can be broken is by parents being parents - supportive, but teaching their kids about the birds and bees and armed with the truth. We also need to remove this variant of CRT from our schools, clean up the airwaves, and get these kids off Instagram and into the real world where they can build healthy relationship. Task #1 should be to end drag queen story time and stop normalizing this perversion. </rant>
