SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
While the U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, abortion rights in California will still be intact. But how will clinics be able to handle the huge influx of women from other states where abortion access is either banned or severely restricted?
Cheri Greven with Planned Parenthood Mar Monte said in the days and weeks ahead, their clinics will start seeing a large number of patients. They are getting ready to serve women from around 26 states, who are expected to come to California seeking abortions.
"California could see an influx of 3,000% patients from out of state,” Greven said. “So, you're looking at well over a million patients coming into California."
Greven said they saw the writing on the wall, so they are prepared to take in an additional 250-500 patients each week. Greven added that is possible due in large part to their efforts to expand the workforce.
"Our goal has always been to train more abortion providers, contract with more outside abortion providers that can come in and fill a gap if needed,” Greven said.
They are also adding more resources to their health centers, especially those near major transportation hubs such as Sacramento, San Jose and Oakland. Greven said they want to make sure local patients do not deal with longer-than-normal wait times.

Easier to get an abortion than Ivermectin.

KCRA, or whatever they call themselves, is full of crap.
Laws restricting abortion are aimed at the abortionist, not the sad soul seeking to abort their unborn child.
Whatever happened to the belief of
a white wedding dress? Green Light
permissions given for a 14 year old
to have sex. It should be outlawed,
and the parents held responsible.
But I digress, Christian values
are obscure these days.
With Planned Parenthood ever being
established, sad to say, those beliefs
no longer exist.
In the old days, people would come from our of state to California to go to the beach, visit a winery, ride a trolley, watch Sandy Koufax pitch, go to the Hollywood Bowl, or tour Hollywood. Some would visit to try to be part of Hollywood.
Now visits are increasing for baby-killing.
Those seeking an abortion should be held to the same standard as buying a gun in another state. You can only buy what your home state allows.
California could do an advertising campaign:
California - I came for an abortion. I stayed for the taxes.
Travel agencies in states where it is illegal are facilitating evasion of the law.
I think you’re right. PP is a huge money maker. Their product is murder and human body parts.
Abortion is their sacred ‘Sacramento’. Come, worship and then sacrifice your babies on the bloody altars of modern day Molech.
Abortion Tourism
Latest industry for some states.
I can’t wait to see the commercials & ads.
Just like Mexico. If you can’t get it here just a hop over the border will get it done.
Ironic that California isn’t concerned about handling the huge influx of illegals.
Try crossing state lines to commit murder.
I hope this incentivizes tens, or even hundreds of thousands of leftists to move from states like Texas, Idaho, Tennessee, Florida, Arizona, etc back to CA. Keep all of the far left nutjobs, as well as the illegal migrants they support, contained in a single geography so their damage can be limited.
No 1 on the left is saying this might stop babies from dying. It’s just a big inconvenience for them.
I don’t see why the pro abortionists are so upset. States and companies have pledged to create an entire abortion tourism industry. Pro abort states will have more abortions than ever. Payed for by the tax payer of course.
