First of all, if you can disable your car remotely, so can the government.
Second thought. I bet the car owner has a cute little key hanger right in the hallway of his home. Plus, he has big windows with no blinds or curtains so everyone can see his nice exclusive home and all the expensive items inside.
The rest of us toss the keys on the counter or table and then set the grocery bags, junk mail, purse, etc on top them while we take off our shoes, jewelry, and bra, and at the same time talking to the kids, spouse, and dog. No one thinks about the keys again until the next morning. Then, we are looking everywhere including the trash hoping to find them before finally discovering them on the floor beneath the kitchen table. Am I right?
“Am I right?“
I never leave the keys to my Rolls on the counter.
I have a tray-o-crap by the door that I empty my grimy work pants pockets into when I drag myself in in the evenings.
No, it’s not visible from outside. And I haven’t lost my keys since I started doing something similar— with a kitchen mixing bowl— 30+ years ago.
My wife set her keys on a cardboard box in “her” corner of the living room, and forgot them. I had spares and made up a set she used for 8 months. Then she moved the box and heard them rattle around inside it.
That was a funny day :)
Bra! lol Lucky hubby!
