I can see how both the sex hormone and the IGF-1 could be problematic, but my wife and I like our milk products, so cutting these down will be difficult.

Fair Life milk is a good choice if you like milk. Ultra purified. Tastes better and lasts longer.

I would investigate any links between the sponsors of this study and any anti-dairy products groups. Science seems to become more mercenary every year.

I’d need to cut my milk consumption by 99.3%? Are they nuts?

Two things of note, one of which I failed to include in the excerpt:

“Fraser noted that the results had minimal variation when comparing intake of full fat versus reduced or nonfat milks; there were no important associations reported with cheese and yogurt.”

From another study:

Results: Each 400 g increment in daily dairy intake was associated with 16.8 µg/L (95% CI 6.9, 26.7) higher IGF-1 concentrations. Each 200 g increment in milk per day was associated with 10.0 µg/L (95% CI 4.2, 15.8) higher IGF-1. In contrast, we observed no association between cheese or yogurt intake and IGF-1 concentrations.

Association of dietary intake of milk and dairy products with blood concentrations of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) in Bavarian adults

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31089868/

Cheese and yogurt created no IGF-1 problems in either study! Only normal milk products did.

Now, it's just left to the possible sex hormone issue.

I drink raw cow A2 and goat milk. Not worried about prostate cancer. Maybe industrial milk but I’ll keep guzzling raw

It was performed alongside an Adventists hospital, but do note the study agreed with another study I posted above that described cheese and yogurt as not affecting IGF-1 levels.

I use lactose free milk. I’ve had Fairlife, and it’s good. I’ve been wanting to try oat milk, I’ll just have to spend the money for it. It’s all expensive, anymore.
I gotta have my milk😛!

At almost 68 yrs, my pleasures are not as plentiful as they were when I was younger. If drinking milk is going to shorten my life span, I will drink it happily!
The way I see it, I have already cheated death two, if not three times. I probably wouldn’t be here now, if not for God looking out for me.
Bring on the milk!!

You just can’t believe all of this. It is just another money grabbing scam to get grants and scare people who like to be scared.

I’ve been drinking one to two gallons a week of whole milk and/or Half and Half for as long as I can remember.

I hope that this doesn’t mean that I will die young. I’m only 77.

The article was obviously written by a tree hugging, cow loving, Biden
voting, vegan.

Ha....just been through the prostate exam thingy

Probed with an ultrasonic dildo....several index fingers....and a consultation with a Surgeon whose specialty is Urology.

My PSA is 5.4

Dr said....."you have a great Prostate for a 60 year old"

Thanks doc....but I was 60.... 20 years ago.

I drink a lot of milk, yogurt and eat several eggs a day...exercise with weights and lap swim half a mile every week.
