My parents were good,decent and tolerant parents (no nightly beatings or anything) but I am so damn glad that I knew that they would have skinned me alive if I had done anything even remotely that serious.

Sad one little felon was killed — its progenitors are no doubt heart-broken. Hopefully at least one kid has a parent available to compensate the owner of the stolen car. I presume the driver and living passengers will face a few charges, like grand theft auto, fleeing police, hitting a police car, and vehicular homicide. Any charged/convicted as adults, have thrown their lives away. Hopefully other kids will learn from their example and make wiser choices.
