monarchy is not a valid form of gov't Throughout human history, monarchy has been the most common form of government. I'll grant that it has tended to produce a lot of really crummy leaders ... democracy (whether direct or republican) has also produced a lot of crummy leaders. Man is fallen and corrupt; as a result, government always tends toward kakistocracy.
