Today was like our team winning the Super Bowl.

And then we get Q back after all this time and we made it. We are all still together. That matters.

What an epic day.

Meanwhile my daughter in law is going all ridiculous about the ruling. I responded to one of her FB posts explaining legally what happened and telling her women can still get abortions and that if anyone had questions about the ruling to please ask and I would answer their questions. I just rechecked and she deleted my reply.

I just them tonight at a food truck festival and she even gave me a belated birthday card.

I’m going to send her a PM asking her why she deleted my reply. Or should I leave it alone and influence her son so that eventually as he gets older he’ll want to go to Opa’s house because Opa is cool and has all the cool toys. And then start siding with Opa on politics as Opa explains the world to him, thus making her opinion irrelevant.

My son won his arbitration case and has been allowed to return to work unvaccinated after 20+ weeks of being on involuntary and unpaid leave. It’s been a wonderful day all around. It’s a very good thing your daughter-in-law’s parents didn’t believe in or pursue an abortion. There’s so much irony in the observation that everyone who is FOR abortion has already been born. SMH

Ask her. Just play dumb or hurt? Dils are tough critters sometimes

Take it from someone who doesn’t get to see grandkids: do not irritate or alienate the mother in any way. Your son will eventually do what makes her happy. And you will be the desolate loser.

There is an old, and very crass, Irish saying: “A p#b#c hair can pull a plow.”

Re your daughter

Our son is just as bad! What makes it worse is that he is adopted! I have to hold myself back from asking if he would have fathered been aborted and dIe a horrible, painful dEath while his limbs were ripped from his body! We must pray for them every day!

I know I'm jumping in late and I don't post much on any thread these days but...I'm at a loss to understand the screaming about the murdering of children (abortion) issue. What about birth control?
When I've asked that of a couple of pro-abortion lunatics they just continue to scream nonsense. I'm sure (don't really know) there are a variety of birth control options available. Why doesn't the left see that at the most viable option?

No, not a good idea to undermine your daughter in law.
