BREAKING: Did Lithuania Light the Fuse on World War III?
GATEWAY PUNDIT ^ | 6/18/2022 | larry johnson

Posted on 06/18/2022 9:51:34 PM PDT by bitt

In a move of staggering stupidity and hubris, Lithuanian banned the transit of Russian goods to Kaliningrad effective today, June 18, 2022. Kaliningrad, which is wedged between Poland on the west and Lithuania on the east, is home to almost a half-million Russians and the headquarters for the Russian Navy’s Baltic Sea force.

Lithuania claims it is simply abiding by the sanctions imposed by the European Union. After all, Lithuania is a member of the European Union and NATO. But that is the point. This is a deliberate provocation. It is laying economic siege to a vital interest of Russia. While there is no immediate danger to the Russian population of Kaliningrad, this is a flash point that could lead to an actual war as opposed to a special military operation.

Russia is in no mood to tolerate any such stupidity right now....

Lithuania is a sovereign nation.

They have no obligation to allow Russia free access to their territory.

Russians could roll nato up in three days; they wouldn’t have to worry about collateral damage to orthodox Christians.

If your nonsense will get even a little bit of scrutiny you have to resort to communist “false consciousness” and “manufactured consent” bullshit.

Do you really think brave Ukrainians fighting and dying to stop the murderous Russian hordes have chosen to do that because they love (((cosmopolitan globalism))) and sodomy?

Do you think this is motivating countries like Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland to go to great lengths and expense (with the overwhelming support of people) to help Ukrainians fight the invading orcs?

You are wrong of course. Ukrainians fight an existential war against an invader, who wants to wipe their culture off the map. Poles, Lithuanians, Latvians and Estonians are helping them because they know what Russia and Russians are right. They do this out of informed human decency.

“Russians could roll nato up in three days”

How many days would Russia need to roll Ukraine?

"How many days would Russia need to roll Ukraine?"

A real WAR between Russia and Ukraine would last 72 hours or less. The ONLY reason this operation is lasting any longer than that is that Russians are taking extreme care not to harm civilians or civilian ifrastructure. That should be obvious.

NAZIS, of course, do not have any such scruples. A totally reasonable assumption is that any sort of evidence of wanton killing and destruction you may be seeing in news from Ukraine, is the work of the bandera-Nazis and not the work of the Russian military.

This is more like a rescue mission, since Russians still generally view typical Ukrainians as fellow Slavic Orthodox Christians.

"A rescue mission ?" you might ask...

As in,

And put an end to the gargantuan deep-state child trafficking and money laundering ops and other forms of extreme transnational gangsterism.

The thing that is really new and different about this operation is that, historically at least, nine ways out of ten when Christians have had to face off against barbarian hordes, the Christians have gotten wiped.

THIS TIME THE CHRISTIANS HAVE WON!!!!

In fact, not only won but won in spectacular fashion. Acting with no more than about 15% of its available forces, Russia has produced a candidate for greatest demonstration of maneuver warfare since Genghis Khan, and all of that with a force no larger than a third or so of the bandera-Nazi defenders while standard doctrine says they should need three times the size of the defending force...

There is no definition of patriotism that includes stooging or taking the side of Nazis against Christians. The potential for conservatives who have taken the side of the deep state and the banderaNazis in this business to end up looking and feeling stupid, is vast and I don't think they're going to have to wait very long for that.

Funny how this article leaves out the context that only sanctioned goods are banned. Instead, it gives the impression that all goods are banned. It’s still 50% of what Kalingrad imports but it isn’t a blockade. I suppose that wouldn’t be as sensationalist.
It’s also a response to Russia’s latest noise that Lithuania isn’t independent because of x y z.

Well World War IV will certainly distract from the midterms and Joe’s disastrous economy.

We sure do live in interesting times.

Biden and the January 6 Show Trial need WWIII to arrive as fast as possible.

Bill Gates will happily descend into his bunker with the giddiness that his dream of massive depopulation will finally be realized.

There’s so much that’s a complete reversal of truth within that puff piece it’s almost satire.
Where do I begin?

"The Russian people paid blood for this land in 1945 and are not going to relinquish it in the face of bullying or threats from the west."

The exact can be said by Ukraine, the Baltics, and every other country that used to be part of the Soviet Union after hearing Putin say DIRECTLY that he wants them dragged back into a union, and re-Russified.

Their territorial integrity came only after a very heavy price both from World Wars 1-2 and the subsequent Soviet occupation.

They all have an equal right to self-determination – in fact, it’s the exact same right Russia benefited from after the USSR fractured. Russia has no more right to their land than they have rights over its.

"In the SMO you leave communications, electrical infrastructure, transportation infrastructure and fuel depots largely intact."

LOL. Seriously, if Putin or Lavrov said that out loud they wouldn’t be able to stop chucking. What utter nonsense.

Communications:

Transportation infrastructure? Fuel depots?! What was the author smoking?

Saying that this isn’t a war because those things weren’t being destroyed is so pathetic it’s on a level with Baghdad Bob declaring Iraq free of enemy tanks WHILE THEY WERE BEHIND HIM WHILE HE WAS ON CAMERA.

"If Russia opts for a war footing, the restraint that characterized its activities in Ukraine will be replaced..."

What restraint? Putin has made it pretty clear that they’ve been prepping for this invasion for years (pretty poorly on the military side, given the state of the first waves of troops and kit).

There are more Key Performance Indicators for this war on the Russian side than I’ve had hot dinners.

The only thing holding Putin back is his grandiose conquest ambitions were scuppered when it turned out thirty years of rampant corruption in the military meant the first wave of kit he sent in was a complete pile of crap, and the people sent to use it were shamefully under-equipped. They didn’t even know what the mission was.

If Putin hadn’t been such a massive kleptomaniac and hadn’t surrounded himself with other kleptomaniacs, maybe things would’ve been different and we’d have seen what Putin was EXPECTING to see – enormous shock and awe from day one, not a month of ignominy and videos of farmers dragging tanks away with tractors.

Putin hasn't been "restrained" by careful planning and diligence for moral reasons, he's had to do it to avoid scaring any potential allies in the region AND it turned out he couldn't do Shock and Awe properly due to all that corruption!

So what DOES a proper Special Military Operation look like?

Operations Granby, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm were part of a proper Special Military Operation. We still call it Gulf War. That's right, folks. A SMO is a war with certain characteristics.

Does the Russia-Ukraine WAR look anything like Gulf War 1?

Nah, Putin’s Russia has conducted a unilateral war of occupation – and even outlaws the description of it as a war.

What would it have looked like if it HAD been a Special Military Operation proper?

With UN condemnation of Hussein AND the invitation by Kuwait’s officially recognized government already in place, a coalition of thirty countries supported by nine others sent forces into Kuwait with clearly stated mission aims that were stuck to.

So, one country acting alone after sending in a NAZIFIED private militia in ahead of time, in the absence of any international mandate, isn’t a SMO.

Iraq insisted that its withdrawal from Kuwait must be “linked” to a simultaneous withdrawal of Syrian and Israeli troops from multiple other countries. Only two countries were prepared to give that “quid pro quo” the time of day.By majority consensus the demand was rejected.

So, in a SMO, the aggressor who provoked the operation doesn't get to dictate Roger Irrelevant Bullshit conditions before they leave the occupied areas - like, other countries need to withdraw their troops from other sovereign nations.

On that basis, Russia should be bitch-slapped by the entire world every time it demands a NATO withdrawal to 1990s borders as a precondition for peace.

How should a Special Military Operation respond to accusations of war crimes?

In February 13, 1991, the Amiriyah blockhouse was blown up. Iraqis claimed it was air shelter. The Coalition claimed that it was a military target. Sound familiar? Yes, it’s basically what happened multiple times in Ukraine - the railway station full of civilians, the hospital and theater in Mariupol.

But nonetheless, Amiriyah represented a serious allegation and it had to be investigated. In a proper SMO, as soon as allegations of mistakes or war crimes are made by the SMO forces, they’re investigated properly. Russia has no intention of ever doing that.

Which, given the state of the towns around Kyiv and the state of Mariupol, and the singular lack of equivalent destruction in areas Russia was less successful in, is beyond a joke.

Gulf War 1 demonstrates what a RESTRAINED “special military operation” looks like. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine looks nothing like it.

What Russia doing, is trying to present its WAR – its wholly illegal and wholly unilateral invasion of Ukraine as if it’s repeating what America did in Gulf War One. However, if there were any real comparisons to be made, Putin’s playing the role of Saddam not of the West.

Run for your lives! ( sarc.)

A wider war with Russia is inevitable.

The problem is that America is not at its strongest right now, Europe will have to defeat Russia. America will be engaging China in the Western Pacific. Australia needs to be ready.

No country is obliged to facilitate transport of anybody across their sovereign territory.
Anyway, the “Kaliningrad”, named after Stalin’s close collaborator, has never been Russian until after WWII!
Founded as “King’s town” by Czech king, it changed hands from Lithuanian town, to German and Polish.
Grabbed by Stalin after WWII. The original population was evicted and Russian settlers brought in.

That's what their "leader" (the Soros puppet Zelensky) is having them do. He sold out his country for filthy lucre and a nice mansion in Florida. He's the real enemy of Ukraine.

Engaging Red China by Xi’s puppet Plugs the Pedo ? Doubtful, if only for a kabuki theater show, though Plugs wouldn’t mind sacrificing our military forces (which are now used to advertise heavily for sodomy).

Australia just replaced a fake Conservative regime for a full-on Stalinist one. Xi could march into Oz and they’d throw him a parade.
