Oddly, your morality seems to be this:

Blockades I like are good. Blockades I don't like are bad.

How many Russians want to die over Lithuania?

The EU put the sanctions on. If Russia attacks Lithuania over it, the US will be obligated and all of NATO will be obligated to enter the war.

I don’t think Russia will do squat. They are already bogged down in Ukraine. There are ethnic sections of Russia ready to rebel. Oh Russia will cut oil off to Lithuania, but Lithuania already said they were prepared to go without Russian oil and it wouldn’t cause any critical problems for them.

Kaliningrad is a port, this isn’t a siege.

‘Good for Lithuania.

They remember being under the Soviet Union”.

Lithuania did not do this on their own but was told to do it.

This is very serious and could lead to a horrific war in Europe which could spread to Asia.

We’re getting closer and closer to a nuclear exchange.

Russia took a calculated risk. It’s leaders decided to go
to war over an issue that they trumped up far beyond reality.

Not the Ukraine, Lithuania, or Estonia had their sights set
on hurting Russia.

No nukes or top level weapons existed in Estonia, Lithuania,
or the Ukraine. Russia was under no threat.

So low and behold Russia talked about biolabs, NAZIs, and
NATO membership.

Estonia and Lithuania have been members of NATO since
2004. They haven’t made any attempt whatsoever to endanger
Saint Petersberg. No one has. Not Finland, Sweden, or
Poland have either.

Russia did nothing about those biolabs. It didn’t really
focus on the NAZIs. It didn’t take out the Ukraine’s
leadership to stop them from joining NATO.

So far, Russia is batting 0.000 on the issues that they
said mattered most to them.

They have lost 30-50,000 troops and an awful lot of
military infrastructure. There is talk about the field
losses of their military leadership.

I dismiss a lot of what I hear negative about Russia, but
it’s my understanding that the things I mentioned above
are pretty much accepted as the reality for Russia right
now.

Lithuania is now shutting down passageway. Russia shut off
natural gas. These things happen in war time. Perhaps
next time Russia will think of these types of situations
before it goes on the next witch hunt.

Hope the AZOV gas preserves were worth all the death,
destruction, and disruption of the former Soviet Union
land that now makes up the Ukraine.

Blockading an aggressive dictator is good. Blockading a free country or city is bad.

How is it your morality can’t distinguish between a free people and an evil dictator?

You left off D.C., Which should be at the top of the list.

Preferably when Congress is having a joint session, and Biden AND 0bama are there.

I agree. This is a very serious and scary development.

But I would add San Francisco.

That’s right. They do not care who or how many die.

If we hear they are all vacating the US for their South Pacific safe places, look out.

I think it’s in the US and the World’s strong interest that Russia lose this war and be driven out of Ukraine.

And I think all the arguments by the Putin Pushers of Starting WW3, Nuclear War, Soros, Gay’s in Ukraine, etc, is just plain silly.

Russia is not the only one that can threaten nuclear war or expanding the war. The West can too.

Lithuania is just implementing the sanctions. Russia hasn’t expanded the war with anyone else over sanctions. Why this silly pretend that Lithuania is going to start WW3? Russia can still get goods to that city by sea.

Thanks for posting that.

I think the US has more than 100,000 troops in Europe now.

an actual war as opposed to a special military operation.

So there is no war in Ukraine in per the TGP - war is different from a "special military operation." Typical of the never-ending nonsense of this publication.

Things are escalating. In addition to the Lithuania development, I noted today that Zelensky announced it had used US harpoon missiles to sink another Russian ship.

That sounds to me like Zelensky is trying to force Russia to kill some Americans and thereby pull the US into the war.

No more than Putin making it clear he wants to create a Second Soviet Union

Hasn't exactly kept that a secret...but we are supposed to believe he is launching and instigating all of these conflicts for peaceful purposes to "stop globalism."
