“And that aside, he has that psycho look. Why in God’s name was she running off with him?”

Females have a built-in instinct that attracts them to men who are strong and dangerous, and are thus capable of protecting them. It’s a balancing act. They have to be capable of harming others but have the self-control and goodwill to avoid doing so unless absolutely necessary.

It is this instinct that causes them to go for the proverbial “bad boy” types. Good guys are always whining how they “finish last”.

But the outcome all too often is that the dangerous thug isn’t a very good protector and provider for the women who are attracted to them.

Girls need fathers who are the strong, dangerous (to bad guys) type, who adore and protect their little girls. And girls need to let their fathers screen potential suitors to be sure they earn the privilege of winning their daughters’ hearts.

Absentee fathers are the primary reason for things like this, probably in both of their lives. And we have a system that does not value fathers being the natural protectors and providers they are meant to be.

The cave man killed the "good guy".

I can understand the biology of being attracted to a man if he's strong, powerful but more often than not, the strong and powerful part is what will be used against a victim, not for the victim...

poor family of the young woman....their worse fears I'm sure..
