I find strange folk everywhere, and I have no doubt that many consider me to be strange folk.
````````````````````````````````````````
I thought you and I were the only sane ones here, now I’m starting to wonder about you.
“No justice in this case. The father is severely hurt too but highly misguided. The daughter is gone. This action is uber petty.”
Total justice. Dude was totally out of line.
My son’s truck was stolen while he attended the Auburn/Alabama game in Auburn 18 years ago. The Auburn police still haven’t found it.
Don’t give up hope.
O.J. is still looking for the killer.
You are dodging the question. Did the city employee take it upon himself to object, or is he doing so at the urging of the father?
That’s actually sound advice when there is a question over the wisdom of a pending marriage.
Voluntarily though.
The son of a friend, whom I had a minor mentoring relationship with in the past got married recently. Many believed it unwise.
I attempted to speak with him but he refused.
A 30 day separation was exactly the advice I wash ping to offer. If they can’t live without each other, get married.
Poor guy.
Petty and bitter.
We aren't getting to the gist of the truth. Was it the city, or was the city the proxy for the father?
Court made reasonable decision IAW the law.
"The Law" is often an @$$, but the court should not be. In this case, the court was as arrogant as courts nowadays have become.
Not just flowers, wooden boxes with photos that would rot away.
!0 times and against cemetery rules.
How would you feel if some past ‘admirer of a deceased family member kept putting obnoxious items on that persons grave?
Everybody has their own definition of what strange is.
I personally find people who don’t shower often and have their front yard looking like a garbage dump strange.
Some New Yorkers fit that profile too BTW.
And I’m sure I’m strange to others as well :0
The world continues to turn.
Wow, something wrong with a place that can rot ten planter boxes in a year.
``````````````````````````````````````````````````
Have you seen the color of the soil in Alabama? Those folks think dirt is supposed to be bright orange.
“You are dodging the question. “
I didn’t dodge. I gave you the on the record fact that he was warned by the city NOT t place the boxes on the grave.
I left a sharp piece of obsidian on my warrior democrat queen’s grave
I don’t see how he could lay claim to the grave by doing that.
The cemetery should have records regarding the ownership and the father may even have a deed.
Didn’t Joltin’ Joe do something similar for Marilyn Monroe?
I think it was a lot more than 10 times.
There are actually MORE rednecks in Florida than all of Alabama. And by that, I mean native born.
And Alabamians are no more peculiar than Floridians.
You slandered us first, Sir!
The only thing good coming out of Gainesville?
I-75.
Roll Tide!
“Did the city employee take it upon himself to object, or is he doing so at the urging of the father?”
Matter of process.
Dad informally complains to owner of cemetery.
Owner of cemetery tell dude to stop or legal action may happen.
Dude continues so father files formal complaint.
What version would that be?
I grew up with the King James, and so it is my goto for quoting the bible.
I’m sorry. I didn’t mean a legal claim. I meant that he was marking his territory in a sense. Sorry to put it so crudely.
I too wonder about me sometimes. With all the crazy going around, it would make more sense if *I* was the loon.
