Had a buddy put a 350, gleaned from a 1974 Nova, into his 1979 Vega.
Spent a whole weekend standing on the dashboard swinging an 89-pound maul into the firewall to get it to fit.
Car was always under maintenance but, damn it was fast.

Ultra Vega, yeah that was a thing back in Hi School
Me I just drove old Rivera that had a yuge v8, 460 or something that got incredibly poor gas mileage - but who cared. Muscle under the hood is what counted! Power assist and suspension were not too shabby either fun times
