The present invention provides compositions and systems for delivery of nanocarriers to cells of the immune system. The invention provides vaccine nanocarriers capable of stimulating an immune response in T cells and/or B cells, in some embodiments, comprising at least one immunomodulatory agent, and optionally comprising at last one targeting moiety and optionally at least one immunostimulatory agent. The invention provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising inventive vaccine nanocarriers. The present invention provides methods of designing, manufacturing, and using inventive vaccine nanocarriers and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. The invention provides methods of prophylaxis and/or treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions comprising administering at least one inventive vaccine nanocarrier to a subject in need thereof.

By law a dead animal cannot be processed for consumption. The reason is that if they didn't kill it themselves they cannot be absolutely positive what the cause of death was. A dead animal could be diseased. So even if you think you know for sure that they died from the heat you can't process a dead cow. period end of story. Keeps diseased animals out of the food supply. you know if there weren't severe penalties for that sort of thing shady operators would be processing animals that died under shady circumstances to save money.
Not edible: A couple of threads above explain in more detail but the bottom line is when an animal is killed for food the blood must be drained quickly. After a half hour or so congealing has started and the meat is pretty much useless. The hides should be salvageable for leather but that presumes you were ready to handle the volume.
In the case of cow herds insurance comes into play-—any salvage negates an insurance payout.
