Might that have been in 1973? If so, I was there waiting for you. I worked aircraft instrumentation at Lakenheath 1973-1976.

Did you stay at Lakenheath? If so, I probably met you at maintenance debriefing a few times.

It was 1976, so perhaps we have met. We only spent a couple of days at Lakenheath.

My weirdest instrument problem (self induced) is airspeed failure...went to 0. Of course, I reached down and put the pitot heat on and the airspeed started reading correctly.

Other than that, I can't think of any instrument problems. If I do, I will PM you. Regards
