A decent question, but a better analogy would be why don't we have a pride month for alcoholics by celebrating THEIR lifestyle? Both are destructive.

It is unchristian to support a self-destructive lifestyle.

A stable, heterosexual marriage is a blessing for all those involved-- the couple, their children and society as a whole. Yeah, I am aware there are same sex couples who make great parents and heterosexual couples who make lousy parent, but I am not talking about exceptional cases.
