I am still in the states. With ticket prices as high as they are, I’m not sure how I’ll get back! I was hoping (since my summer job didn’t pan out) to leave after the Fourth. But, if I buy tickets about 6 weeks out, the prices are a bit more manageable.
The reason I came to the states was for my blood check-up. That was Wednesday. The results were online last night. I am very happy to report that all, except six minor areas, are within normal parameters. In fact, on one category there was a note that read (not quite verbatim) “this request was an accident. Patient is normal.” NO ONE has ever said I’ve been normal before. But, it is official now. I am NORMAL! HA!
Actually, things aren’t official. This has been my interpretation of the findings based on the parameters stated in the lab report. The doctor’s office is closed on Fridays. They will be in touch on Monday. Then, it will be official.
Oh, I meant to add, the outliers on my lab report were probably caused by my taking antibiotics for my smashed toe. That was an experience I don’t want to repeat.
