If we had a federal law enforcement arm, like an FBI or something, they could look into why over 80 critical sources of American food have gone up in flames in a year. That would be cool if we had something like that.

“They’re coming for your guns. They’re coming for your jobs. They’re coming for your freedom.” -President Trump, 2020
He was right!
Please don’t forget the subpoena for FBI director Wray.

The FBI spied on President Trump’s campaign.
The DOJ targeted parents at school board meetings.
How can anyone trust them?

No rational actor would trust the FBI or DOJ to impartially handle new powers and authorities. Anyone proposing giving them new authority as opposed to removing authority, disbanding them, defunding them, or putting them under strict oversight, is unworthy of elected office.
75 basis points. I think that was factored into the drop in stocks so the reaction shouldn’t be to bad, we’ll see what Powell says.
The statement took out the sentence that says the economic is strong. Someone tell Biden!
They ignore every ruling.

For Bill Barr, thousands of random people going around cities like Atlanta and Phoenix makes geotracking the mules utterly impossible. By this logic, thousands of people going around Washington DC on January 6, 2021 would make geotracking the Capitol protesters also impossible
Hes not a Republican nor a conservative. But as a businessman he can see what side of his bread gets buttered.
I think you are right about it being factored in. I think it is going to kill borrowing & slow the economy even more. But we'll see.
FED cuts 2022, 2023 growth forecast.
Probably a good idea, not much growth during a severe recession.
Apparently Musk is a brilliant businessman and his recent statements sound as if he is smart and insightful in other ways.
That is why I was taken aback to hear him say he has never voted republican before.
That such a brilliant man could bring himself to support and vote for democrats all his life astounds me.
The hope that America can be saved grows dimmer each passing day.

Big Oil’ Responds To Biden’s Threats: Here’s 10 Things You Can Do To Ease Gas Prices
Following President Biden’s letter to many ‘Big Oil’ executives, threatening them with forced production quotas, windfall taxes, and/or price-caps (because all those things have proved so successful in past crises... not), the American Petroleum Institute - which represents ‘Big Oil’ - sent a letter to the president offering some advice.
1. Lift Development Restrictions on Federal Lands and Waters
2. Designate Critical Energy Infrastructure Projects
3. Fix the NEPA Permitting Process
4. Accelerate LNG Exports and Approve Pending LNG Applications
5. Unlock Investment and Access to Capital
6. Dismantle Supply Chain Bottlenecks
7. Advance Lower Carbon Energy Tax Provisions
8. Protect Competition in the Use of Refining Technologies
9. End Permitting Obstruction on Natural Gas Projects
10. Advance the Energy Workforce of the Future

I guess it depends what world you’ve been raised in.
Take President Trump, for example. He was raised in the liberal world of New York City. Donated to many dems. Had the criminals Slick and Hitlery at his wedding. If you are raised and living in certain circles, it would take awhile to punch out of those circumstances. I also think of Breitbart.
Part of me thinks that Musk is actually coordinating with Trump, so he wants to publicly distance a bit, but a part of me says to be wary. It’s so confusing these days.
Imagine what our world would be like if people were actually honest, told the truth, and worked for the betterment of all?

Powell says growth will hamper demand, bringing down inflation.
How about increasing supply?

Same thing’s going to happen in Wyoming to Virginia “resident” Liz Cheney, that happened in South Carolina to Congressman “Impeach Master” Tom Rice, who lost as an incumbent by 28 points! To me she is nothing less than a war criminal who has done a TERRIBLE job for the Great State of Wyoming!

The White House’s economic illiteracy is breathtaking. You cannot threaten to extinguish an entire industry from the United States (fossil fuel), work furiously to choke off its supplies and suffocate its existence, and then be surprised when the price of that commodity goes up.
(Which is why the most rational explanation is that raising the price of fossil fuel energy is the objective).
Just a quick note.
Got some flooding down by The Park and throughout most of our area. Going down to lend a hand. Be back in couple days.
(It’s a Montana Thing.)
I saw pictures of the flooding.
Stay safe.
