Mexico provides migrants “humanitarian visas” which make them legal to stay in Mexico for a very brief period of time as long as they move on towards the USA. IIRC Trump had Mexico stop doing this but now ….
The term TERF was first used in connection with a harassment campaign against lesbians who did not want heterosexual men to be able to call themselves lesbian women in order to participate in the lesbian women’s festival mitchfest. The campaign resulted in a triple murder.

Reminds me of an old joke.
This guy was sitting at a bar in Texas, dressed in jeans, big belt buckle, cowboy hat, boots and spurs.
This older couple came in and asked him if he was a real cowboy. He replied, “all my life I’ve ridden my horse, rounding up cattle, so I guess I am a real cowboy”.
Awhile later a woman sits down at the bar and asks him the same thing, and the cowboy answers the same.
The woman tells him, “well I’m a lesbian. All I do is think about women, beautiful women”.
A guy comes in a little later and asks if he’s a real cowboy.
He replies, “all my life I thought I was a cowboy, but I just found out I’m a lesbian”.
Believe it or not, my mom told me that joke.

It was timed perfectly. But I don’t think it was masterminded by Trump supporters or intended to go the way it did, but some were caught up in the moment. I think Pelousi and company, Capitol Police and FBI instigators did. That’s why Pelousi turned down President Trump’s offer to bring in the National Guard.
