Lattitude and longitude of Caral: 10° 54’ 0” South, 77° 31’ 0” West
Lattitude and Longitude of Giza: 29° 58’ 35.3280’’ N, 31° 7’ 52.6872’’ E
Some not so Egypt biased academic scholars believe the Giza pyramids are in fact permanent geodesic markers. They were intending to mark the geodesic point of Latitude 30° 0’ and longitude 30° 0’.
If you add 180° to 30° you get 210° which is 30° W longitude and not 10° 54’, but I take your point.
The unbiased scholars believe that the ancients not only understood the earth was spherical but created their own system similar to what we think of as latitude and longitude. Some have theorized the Kaaba in Mecca is one of the geodesic markers, navels, that is sacred but that the reason for preservation has been lost

Well, 180 degrees would be half the circumference, not half the diameter. The diameter is 2r, and the circumference is 2r*Pi. So divide 180 degrees by Pi and you get the actual number of degrees that corresponds to half the diameter of the Earth (appr. 57.296 degrees).
