Biden, NATO, Russia, Ukraine, Somalia and the Globalists w/Robert Barnes
The Duran ^ | May 24, 2022 | Robert Barnes, Alexander Mercouris

Posted on 05/25/2022 7:57:24 AM PDT by Cathi

Robert Barnes: The biggest loser in this Russian Ukraine conflict has been the globalist visions of George Soros and his like crowd. Because a lot things aren't...global digital currency ain't coming any time soon. Global WHO control over pandemics they can try as much as they want legally, politically probably ain't coming any time soon and this is all because they misread Vladimir Putin and Russia frankly. That's what it boils down to.

Alexander: Going back to globalization and the issue of globalization I saw that there was a whole group of business leaders who came along to Davos WEF and all that "World Economic forum"...I'll never forget that is what it calls itself and globalization in a way was conceived there back in the 60s. Anyway a lot of business leaders came along and they said globalization is dead. It's just been killed. You yourselves killed it. Your sanctions in fact destroyed it because what they did is they created this new structure, these new systems and in fact I was reading again in the Telegraph somebody actually saying at Davos now that we have all these countries around the world they're saying, "well if you pose sanctions like that on the Russians you can do the same to us so we are all now working to find alternative routes."

So globalization is finished and Vladimir Putin he played his role and it was a big one. But, the bizarre thing about this is that the initiative to do all this thing that brought the temple down, if you like on everybody's head, the temple of globalization crashing down, it was done by the very advocates of globalization themselves because they misread the Russian economy...they weren't listening to Robert Barnes who could have pointed out to them the Russians have all the oil and energy and food so they will be all right. They can survive the siege. They didn't listen, they went ahead. They thought that this "one dimensional economy the size of Paraguay" or whatever it is that they say would come crashing down like a house of cards. And now they've discovered they were completely wrong and what is crashing down like a house of cards is the whole structure of globalization that they spent the last 70 years creating.

And as I say it is one of the great paradoxes and ironies of history that they have done it themselves to themselves.

Robert Barnes: And just like Napoleon and the Nazi's they forgot not to poke the Russian bear.

Never poke the bear and now they're trying to poke the dragon.

"Russian shill and disbarred barrister" Alexander Mercouris was touting that Brit know-nothing Max Hastings today on the Ukraine situation:

Ukraine must seek peace talks to have any hope of revival
The West should stop gloating over Russian losses and focus on a deal
Monday May 23 2022, 5.30pm, Max Hastings, The Times

Absolutely! And because Trump is usually quite honest he got himself in hot water by openly telling the press that he likes Putin and that he thought we could work with him. He even has referred to Putin’s plans to deal with the sanctions as “genious.”

Of course the leftist media became enraged...:-)

One of the biggest disasters of the left vilifying Russia in an attempt to take Trump down is that it has resulted in driving Putin/Russia into China’s arms.

“...and promotes right wing conspiracies...”

How typical of you to excise the pertinent parts:

“(The Duran)...routinely publishes pro-Russian propaganda...through the use of poorly sourced, plagiarized news articles.”

Pro tip:

Then don’t cite ANY sources that is pro-Russia, which are chock-full of libels and slanders against anything that is not pro-Russia.

See how that works?

You might notice that I dealt with that in my post #21, where I called out Russian shill Mercouris on his touting of the blatherings of Brit hack Max Hastings about the Glorious Ascendant Ukrainian Army.  winking face

I'm doing quite fine, thanks.

Alexander is dishing a delicious description of the grinding of the poor Ukie cannon fodder in the Donbass today.

Svitlodarsk got abandoned by the Ukies [probably against the orders of GreenTee Hitler], the Russians & Donbas militia allies began to storm Lyman on Tuesday [1000-1500 Ukie cannon fodder may be trapped, because the Ukies blew up the bridges connecting them with Sloviansk], and Lysychans'k & Sievierodonetsk appear to be cut off and isolated from one another [another blown bridge].

Piano Boy in Kiev haz The Sadz.

I’ve read some of Hastings’ works. I liked some of them. However, I think Antony Beevor is a better writer, and a better historian. But, that’s opinion, and therefore it is meaningless.

But it doesn’t surprise me that was Hastings’ position.

Failed Fact Checks

▶ Hillary Clinton Sold Weapons to ISIS – Fiction

▶ The U.S. government intentionally engineered the novel coronavirus in research overseen by Dr. Anthony Fauci – False

▶ CDC Withholding Information on deaths after covid vaccinations – False

I have no idea to what extent The Duran discussed these topics, but under no circumstances do they "fail" a fact check.

If that’s the case, then it seems you will likely get your most fervent desire: A smashing Russian victory over a smaller and weaker neighbor. Who will be oppressed in typical Russian fashion.

But, bullies have to bully.

Still, the insurgency that will certainly arise will make Russia’s Afghanistan experience seem...well, tame.

Head’s up to the Baltic states: You’re next, as Lazrov has already alluded to. And you’ll cheer that one on, as well. I wonder why? Nazis again?

So sad.

None of which relate to Russia, which is the subject of the conversation. Nice of you to skim right over that simple fact and introduce something irrelevant. That is known as a Red Herring.

Go back to school, son. Oh, wait: School...bus; on second thought, that might not work our for the other kids, especially the special-ed kids. Maybe you should try home-schooling.

Pick a fight with the bully, you’d better make sure you can handle it yourself - instead of looking over your shoulder to see if your big brothers NATO, the European Union and the US will back up your big mouth...

The minute I see the phrase "fact check", I dismiss the source out of hand.

The "Fact CHEKA", as tovarisch Laz has pointed out, is an ideological enforcement weapon.

Fornicate them, and the horses they rode in on.

Hey jackass...it was YOUR fact-checker which used those topics to call The Duran into question as a reliable news source. I quoted them directly.

Learn to read, dummy.

No, the bully picked a fight with his victim.

Russia started this in the winter of 2014 (invading Crimea in late February, 2014 and occupying it, and annexing it three weeks later). Russia’s seizure of Crimea from Ukraine violated international law and agreements, and the international community condemned it and did not recognize the annexation.

This was an illegal annexation.

Russia also fomented and stirred up revolution in eastern Ukraine, especially the Donbas area. This was coincident with Russia’s invasion of Crimea, though it had seeded the revolution some time prior to that. Russia moved forces into eastern Ukraine contemporary to its move into Crimea.

So, no; the victim did NOT pick a fight with the bully.

But, you know that.

That’s obvious. Unless it supports your narrative and agenda.

Hey, dummy. I challenged it because of The Duran’s known pro-Russia bias. But that is too deep for you to comprehend.

Your Media Bias Fact Check presents a credible case about The Duran. OTOH they give Fox News Channel and CNN an equal 'medium credibility' rating and the New York Times a 'high credibility' rating.

Of 'MBFC' Wikipedia remarks: According to Daniel Funke and Alexios Mantzarlis of the Poynter Institute, "Media Bias/Fact Check is a widely cited source for news stories and even studies about misinformation, despite the fact that its method is in no way scientific." In 2018, the Columbia Journalism Review described Media Bias/Fact Check as an amateur attempt at categorizing media bias and characterized their assessments as "subjective assessments [that] leave room for human biases, or even simple inconsistencies, to creep in".

That’s obvious. Unless it supports your narrative and agenda.

In the early days of Free Republic, I used to profile Clinton's propagandists. I have quite a library of the spewings of those mouthpieces.

I don't need some FR Class of 2003 n00b explaining to me how the Media works.

Your input is noted, and disregarded.
