Oxygen concentrators typically produce 2-3 LPM at max. Certainly that level of O2 could be pulled from the passenger plane O2 providing mechanism.

Of course I cannot speak with authority on this, but it seems reasonable to me. It is not as if it was a trans Atlantic flight or something.

Yeah, that’s about right but I’m with the old war horses. The notion that an airline couldn’t scrape up an oxygen bottle is an admission of high incompetence. Let the old guy use the captain’s hose. WTF?
