If the traitors’ crimes are not made public all at once, the public won’t have to swallow such a massive red pill when they’re not ready. I think it would not engender civil war no matter what, as there are very few on the bad side. They just are funded and coddled and helped. Once the funding etc is gone, they won’t be the big bad outfits they appear to be.
