How is this “fleeing the police” when the biker dude is stopping to gas up? Seems like the cops got the wrong guy. In any case what was wrong with just blocking him in with their cruisers? The geniousity is rampant

They stopped chasing him with their cruisers b/c they did not want to endanger the public. The helicopter surveilled him to the gas station. This guy knew he was being arrested and resisted. Look, I feel pity for this dope. Nobody deserves to become a shish-kabob for fleeing the cops. But bad things virtually never happen to people who obey lawful police orders (even unlawful ones, as well).
If there was a helicopter following him then there should be footage of it showing that the biker could be the same one (e., same color helmet, same color bike, etc.). In this day and age of our illustrious LE like the FBI, I don’t take their word for it.
