President Biden raised the alarm on Sunday about monkeypox, a viral infection fast spreading around the world, and warned that the disease, which can be spread as easily as through handling a contaminated object, is something “that everybody should be concerned about.”
Monkeypox, rarely seen outside Africa, has been found in recent weeks in Europe and the United States.
As of Saturday, 92 cases and 28 suspected cases had been identified in 12 countries outside of those African nations where it is endemic, according to the World Health Organization. There has been one confirmed case in the United States — a man in Boston was diagnosed last week — but public health officials believe case numbers will soon increase.

Race riots and plague. That is the campaign strategy.
Evidence suggests that the smallpox vaccine can help prevent monkeypox infections and decrease the severity of the symptoms. One vaccine known as Imvamune or Imvanex is licensed in the U.S. to prevent monkeypox and smallpox. Vaccination after exposure to the virus may also help decrease chances of severe illness.Added to the list of reasons I am glad I'm old.
Mr.”concerned about” is a lying POS.
We must make it a point to tell the truth.
It is...what little of it is, happening in the GAY community.
Monkey Pox is an old disease. Its been around for thousands of years. It has been active in Africa continually. Its no more active now. Its easy to see. It’s easy to trace. Its not as contagious as COVID. So, I suspect that the CDC and The WHO are trying to cause an emergency where there is none. We should not buy into the hype.
This is the one thread where “not my monkey, not my circus” is really applicable.
Not true. We know the demographics of those who have been infected. Think of monkeypox as an very opportunistic STD and those who need to be most cautious will become obvious.
Lil’ petee buttplug concerned?
Not buying crazy, especially from a crazy man.
Like San fran’s Folsom street fair(y) event?
I read that Belgium has imposed a mandatory 21-day quarantine for anybody who has monkey pox. I didn’t see anything about a lockdown.
This is just one of a few articles I saw out there:
Notable in that article:
“There has been an outbreak in the country linked to a gay fetish festival called Darklands, where three attendees tested positive.”
I am just waiting for the Winter of Death to finish me off
They aren’t even trying to pretend anymore. They are creating viruses in the labs and spreading them throughout the world. Usually, unless you are sharing bodily fluids with an infected person, you have no reason to worry about monkey-pox. If this is spreading through some other means, then it is deliberate. All this is leading up to hysteria for the elections in November. That’s why they are amplifying the issue.
Does anyone believe anything government institutions say anymore? Trust in the so-called “experts” will never return.

Monkeypox rarely kills, though it does have a deathrate of between 1-10% almost entirely among children.
Only some recent report had any mention of gay sex as the transmission mechanism. The disease has been around for decades in Africa and very young children of either gender do get infected, clearly not via gay sex. So thinking you are not vulnerable because you are not gay is somewhat pointless, since deaths are mostly in children.
“....which can be spread as easily as through handling a contaminated object,....”
That object wouldn’t happen to be semi-spherical, would it?
I’m not.
God chooses when and how I go.
It may not be my preferred method, but it’s not my choice to make.
They must have hysteria and lockdowns in order to bring back cheat-by-mail-in-ballots on a massive scale.
That's the only way Dems can win elections, and it worked like a charm in 2020 because RINO-controlled state legislatures allowed it.
