If Chrissy Hynes was an up and coming singer today, she would be aggressively pursued by the Trans-Zilla movement, based on her tomboyish, androgynous stage presence. Sometimes a look is just a look. It doesn’t tell you the whole story.

Saw Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders in concert shortly after she was ‘disinvited’ to be part of the Lillith Fair women’s empowerment tour.

She was awesome, and laid into how full of crap all those stuck up no talent biotches are. I liked the music before that, but in that moment, I fell in love with her. We don’t agree on politics, but she’s smart, independent, and not afraid to speak her mind.
