Saw Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders in concert shortly after she was ‘disinvited’ to be part of the Lillith Fair women’s empowerment tour.
She was awesome, and laid into how full of crap all those stuck up no talent biotches are. I liked the music before that, but in that moment, I fell in love with her. We don’t agree on politics, but she’s smart, independent, and not afraid to speak her mind.

Some years ago saw a TV/Online concert with her and some other female singers (can you still say female), she was great and by far the hardest worker to please the audience.
Not to get off topic but reminded me of Kenny Rodgers. Heard an an interview with him some years ago about why he did not do a lot of new songs at his concerts. He said they have paid money to hear my hit songs not new stuff that may or not be good.
