i have have been living with a severe reaction to the shingles vaccine that I would not wish on anyone. Get red streaks anywhere on my body followed by hives,horrible itching and then bruising.
Shingles wasn't fun but it only lasted for 2 weeks. I've been in the reaction hell for over 5 years,
Was that the Shingrix, I don’t know what year it came out.
I had an arm reaction to the older one, but haven’t ruled out getting this one.
Has that been verified by an MD?

I have two of the more common variations plus a few others. I had a bad reaction to a vax. So therefore, I am scared to get this shot.
I just got over them about 2 months ago. I always told myself to get the shot.
But the doctor told me that had I had come in on the first day, the acyclovir anti-viral drug would have stopped it immediately.
I said that was nice to know however when the first symptoms occurred, I thought I needed a chiropractic adjustment on my neck. Little did I know that was the shingles affecting my nerves in my left arm about 2 days before the blisters showed up. I went to the doctor on the second day after the blisters appeared.
I was fortunate that it was on my left hand and between a couple of fingers, but the tips of my little finger and ring finger are still numb. Still, the nerve pain was excruciating. Felt like every bone in my left hand and wrist was broken.
