The wasting disease (CWD) originated from mink farms in Montana(?) feeding sheep offal. Sheep get “Scrapie”, which is prion, but hadn’t apparently been a big issue over time. Mink “escaped” (uh huh) from the farm(s) and introduced the material into western cervid (deer, elk) herds.
As the proteins are persistent, the only reasonable way to insure it’s removed from the local ecosystem (my personal view) is ground fires (grass/brush) along with a concerted effort to neutralize potential reservoir animals common to that area.
I’m very suspicious of both the CWD introduction and the tick born meat allergy because both of those are WEF/Globalists wet dreams for denying individualist humans field forage and getting same off of “carbon intense” (their words) protein sources.
