I am a non-breasted person, but I am the sperm donor for seven children, all of whom were nourished only by my chest-feeder, which went fine.
I think the support for this hysterical reaction, mostly from persons of uterus, that “many birthing persons can’t do it” is just nonsense.
If chest feeding was too difficult, or commonly didn’t work, there wouldn’t be mammals.
I read that most millennial women have chosen to formula-feed. They might nurse the first couple of months but then switch to formula. They probably didn’t expect a shortage. Most millennials vote Dem, so one would think the Dem voters are learning a hard lesson right now, but, no, they’ll most likely remain as clueless as ever.
I am sure there are a few who have issues. Very few.
The rest? IMO, lazy and wimpy.
Which is odd because any thinking woman knows this is the far easiest route to take. Baby crying in the middle of the night? Roll over, feed. Go back to sleep.
No bottles to clean, pack, etc.
The first time? Certainly not "easy" at first. In fact, very painful. But, if you want to do, you can do it.
