During the war in Viet Nam the production of cinnamon (generally from the area of Quang Tin province in South Viet Nam) was entirely interrupted. Its great quality and pungent taste has been recognized throughout the world and is now available in the USA.
There’s a store near here (well, sort of near) that stocks it, smells terrific in the car while driving home.
I only buy cinnamon from Vietnam. It is by FAR the best in quality and flavor. :)
