To hear Democrats today, outrage over the possible overturning of Roe v. Wade will cause a blue wave this November. It’s an amusing theory that doesn’t quite hold up under scrutiny. Even Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) pointed out earlier this week that abortion is by no means the number one issue in his state. “Inflation is the number one driving factor I believe in my state. Right now, it’s hurting everybody, not just at the pump, but at the grocery store, at the drug store, at the pharmaceutical. Everything they do,” he explained.
Joe Biden’s cheerleaders at CNN seem to agree. On Thursday, the left-wing network acknowledged that, according to their latest poll, Biden is near “the point of no return with Americans on the economy” and dangerously close to an “irreversible severing of public confidence in his capacity to deliver prosperity and financial security.”
And Biden is taking his entire party down with him.
CNN surprisingly acknowledged the Democrats’ “looming political disaster” in the upcoming midterms because “the White House initially underestimated and has failed to tame” inflation.
“The party seems stuck in a dangerous political position of insisting the economy is doing well while voters think it’s in the tank,” the analysis reads.

The Income Tax required a Constitutional Amendment. The first President to endorse and promote an income tax amendment was Teddy Roosevelt.
Congress passed an income tax amendment in 1909 while William Howard Taft was President. It then was sent around the States for ratification.
The 16th Amendment was ratified on February 3, 1913. Woodrow Wilson didn’t even take office until March 4th, 1913.
The Revenue Act of 1913 was a mixture of tariffs and an income tax. The income tax portion was a 1% tax on incomes over $3,000, which in 1913 was only 3% of the population. It’s about $90,000 in current dollars.
True, and if she became POTUS now, there’s no way they could reverse the crashing economy or fix anything else by 2024.

It isn't just a matter of perception. The Dems have been wrong-footed by reality and won't adjust. And it really doesn't help when the media out themselves by continuing to bleat that open borders, high taxes, propaganda in schools, and high fuel and food prices are all good for society because they force the unwashed to make "better" choices and stay on a fictitious "right side of history."
It gets worse. We are informed that J6 was an insurrection on the order of revolutionary Paris and that the top threat in DC is violence on the part of the extreme right over, of all things, abortion. The fairy stories are approaching Disneyesque proportion and Disney is paddling in the gutter. That's Biden's and the Dems' America.

I keep telling everybody the Corporate Media is blowing this WAY out of proportion. Firstly, it just returns the issue to the states where it will be decided democratically. Secondly, the only people who are super fired up about this are people who were going to show up and who were going to vote Left anyway. This is nowhere near the biggest issue for most people. That is obviously inflation/the economy. But even then, is this a bigger issue than soaring crime? The border? Potential war against a nuclear armed country?
I’m willing to bet this won’t even rank as a top 5 issue to voters come November.
