GREER, S.C. (WSPA) – A naked man is accused of stealing an ambulance Wednesday and crashing it into a pole in Greer.
According to the Greer Police Department, officers were called to a report of a suspicious man banging on the front door of a home on Tryon Street shortly before 11:30 a.m.
Arriving officers found the naked man under the home who they said appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
Greenville County EMS was called to the scene to provide medical care for the man.
After officers left the scene, police said the man became combative, hitting and kicking one of the EMS members.
Greer Police said the man was able to get into the driver’s seat of the ambulance and drove away.
Responding officers spotted the stolen ambulance near South Buncombe Road and Hood Road.
While attempting to catch up to the ambulance, officers spotted it driving through a field before it crossed South Suber Road and struck a utility pole near Clement Road.
Police were then able to take the man, identified as 35-year-old Jamario Marquis Bowens of Greenville, into custody.
Bowens is charged with Carjacking, Grand Larceny, first degree Assault & Battery, Resisting Arrest, Driving Under the Influence, and Reckless Driving.
Police said Bowens was taken to the hospital following the crash but was not hurt in the crash.
Because cops these days, after the George Floyd incident, do NOT want to be called upon to have to restrain a black man on drugs.

Yup. I tan poorly. Usually it's a burn and peel. I suspect I owe the gluten intolerance to my Irish heritage. On a visit to Countryside, IL, my customer brought in pizza for lunch. I left the office and spied a Thai restaurant down the block. I mentioned why I was eating Thai for lunch after my server took my order. Six guys on a nearby table said they were there for the same reason. Irish too.
I’m Irish, similar issues but not bad.

I mentioned “Cocaine intoxication” because several SE Florida cases were reported by our very competent Medical Examiners having extensive experience.
One ran off naked from a 3rd story parking garage; impressive, because he had broken both legs!
Another ran naked from a parking lot into the surf and drowned. Typically, the user feels like his body is on fire, so removing one’s clothes is a natural progression of the sensation.
Fortunately, I have no illegal drug experience, so the natural progression of the need to still more effective/overdosing drugs could never happen. Marijuana has been made sinister because of its availability, affecting pedophilia and this nation’s military security.

I’d seen “bath salts” mentioned when a homeless man sleeping on a Miami beach was attacked by a naked man. The homeless man lost the flesh on his face to the naked cannibal’s assault.
Where is America’s infatuation with “innocent drugs” taking us vis-a-vis Red China?
Gluten and lactose free works well for me. A hybrid of the "zone" diet and 5:2 intermittent fasting. The MyFitnessPal app helps track input, weight, exercise. If I had the discipline and didn't have to placate my wife's desire for a variety of food, a gluten free/dairy free diet would fix my gut and sinus problems. I've done it in the past to good results, but it's a lot of work.
The wife of one of my co-worker's was confined to the hospital on a ton of drugs. I happened upon an article describing issues associated with gluten/gliaden, zonulin, leaky "tight junctions", A1 casein -> beta casomorphin. I shared the article with my co-worker. His wife went on a strict gluten free/casein free diet. She was out of the hospital, off the drugs and out on 4-wheelers with her kids in the woods. A huge difference. Some weeks into her success, a lunch trip found her making a small slip with a piece of cheese. Inside an hour, she was "loopy". The casein in the cheese had converted to beta casomorphin and found its target in her brain. No more slips since then. Diet can make a significant difference in health.
